Well, it's been a long and hot summer here so far in Tucson. We are about halfway through monsoon season (rains every day) and we can't wait for the time where we'll be able to swim every day again.

Nothing else big is going on. We just booked our flight home for christmas. Christy will be there for four weeks and I will be there for three. I can't wait to see my nieces and nephew again. It will also be nice to hang out with everyone and not have to worry about cramming it all into two days.

Well, it's officially summer here in Tucson. Doug has moved into his house, and he had a barbeque today. After many delicious burgers and many wonderful Coronas, it was all a success. It was hot outside, but luckily we were indoors. Before we know it, it's gonna be over 100 degrees every day again. I'm definitely not looking forward to that. We got spoiled with an awesome winter where most days dropped only to the upper 50s and lower 60s. Everyone was freezing under tons of snow back home, and we were still swimming by the pool every once in awhile. This is definitely something we are gonna have to get used to.

Well, almost five months in Tucson, and the heat has finally decided to subside. The high for today, October 11, 2005 is 83 degrees. The high back home in Chicago today...61 degrees. Are you all jealous yet? Hey, we have plenty of room for those of you who need to get out of the cold and have a little fun in the sun. I think maybe i'll go swimming after work today. Maybe get a little tan down by the pool......
